At the just ended 3rd African Youth SDG Summit, a team of 6 with a common interest of eradicating plastics pitched on how to innovatively contribute to SDG 4( Quality Education) through the building of schools with plastics for rural communities with schools under trees and unsafe structures. The 50 hour virtual marathon was a journey driven by hope and the passion to touch lives. Yay! We emerged as one of the 3 winning teams. This project envisions an all inclusive mandate of every African to help beat plastic through an innovation that will change the educational status quo of bright young Africans in the rural communities. Before you drop a plastic, keep it for a second, Plastic4Education needs it to balance the educational inequality gap. Let’s build Tomorrow (Schools) now
